A letter to Chinese students and scholars in Aachen

A letter to Chinese students and scholars in Aachen

The recent coronavirus issue in Wuhan in China has affected the hearts of every overseas Chinese. Here, on behalf of the Aachen Chinese Students and Scholars Association, I would like to give the following advice to all Chinese students in Aachen according to the situation of the prevention and control of the new pneumonia epidemic:

1. If you or someone you know recently departed from Wuhan or arrived in Aachen via Wuhan, it is recommended that you be responsible for yourself and others, please self-quarantine for 14 days to avoid causing discomfort in the small city of Aachen. Necessary panic. This is the sense of public morality that a Chinese citizen should have. I hope that our compatriots can take up this responsibility that is fully borne. In case of suspected illness, you should see a doctor in time and get in touch with the Aachen Federation of Students. We will also coordinate with the relevant departments of the Consulate General for assistance as soon as possible.

2. For overseas students from Hubei who plan to return to China for vacation in the near future, it is recommended to cancel their trip and not return to China for the time being.

3. When overseas students who have returned to China for vacation take public transportation or participate in activities held in crowded places, please pay attention to personal health and safety protection.

At present, experts at home and abroad are also actively developing relevant treatment methods. I hope that everyone in Germany will not panic too much. I believe we can overcome this hurdle. Wuhan will stand up, and China will stand up.
